Boxing has been reduced to ridiculous exhibitions

Body
The sport of boxing has become ridiculous. Back in the day, I could name all the champions--from heavyweight to featherweight. I knew them all (or at least most). In my childhood years, there were great fighters such as Rocky Marciano, Jersey Joe Walcott, Archie Moore, Sugar Ray Robinson and of course Joe Louis. Later on, there were great boxers such as Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Sugar Ray Leonard, George Foreman and Ken Norton. And even later there were such guys as Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, among others.

Cardinals offense produced a 5-run inning but struggled late in clutch spots in 6-5 loss

Body
May 5—Saturday gave the Cardinals plenty of reasons to walk away soaked and sour.
