CRIMINAL PROFILER HOSTS SEMINAR AT NOC APRIL 25 Noted criminal profiler and true crime writer Phil Chalmers will host a seminar at Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa April 25.

The event, organized by NOC Criminal Justice Instructor Troy Cochran, will be held at the Renfro Center from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. with lunch provided. Lunch will be provided by the NOC Student Organization Criminal Justice Society.

Tickets to the event are $149 each, $40 for NOC students.

Chalmers, who specializes in profiling dangerous people, is the author of the Teen Killer Whisperer and hosts the Where the Bodies are Buried Podcast.

The seminar will include extremely graphic content including images of sex, violence, torture, and death. Attendees must be 18 years and older.

Training topics include causes, warning signs, and triggers of today’s dangerous killers. Also covered are school shooting trends, school safety plans, and many others.

The seminar will go live on Zoom with school shooters and serial killers.

The seminar is designed for law enforcement, school resource officers, dispatchers, counselors, probation officers, social workers, and victim’s advocates.

The program is brought by the Northern Oklahoma Foundation and Joe Lewis, Lectureship Chair in Criminal Justice.

NOC TONKAWA 24 HOUR PLAY FESTIVAL APRIL 22 The Northern Oklahoma College Division of Fine Arts is hosting the 24 Hour Play Festival Saturday, April 22 at the Kinzer Performing Arts Center.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Actors, directors, and writers have only 24 hours to create a play, Saturday’s performance is the final product.

Admission is $5, free admission for NOC students and employees with NOC ID. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
