Loretta Mae Downs Rawdon, longtime resident of Ponca City, died June 21 at Spanish Cove Retirement Village in Yukon, Oklahoma where she resided since March, 2018.

Loretta was born in Drumright to Charles S. and Ethel Irene Downs. After her mother died when Loretta was five years old, Uhunah Nichols Downs became her new mother.

Loretta and Billy Neal Rawdon were married in Tahlequah and moved to Ponca City in 1950. She was manager of the Top Value Redemption Store for ten years. She then was bookkeeper for their service station, Rawdon DX and their various commercial and residential rental properties. She also bought and sold collectible items on eBay for 15 years.

Loretta is survived by two sons, Larry Rawdon and wife Katie of Jacksonville, Florida and Jeff Rawdon and wife Kathy of Yukon, four grandchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, brother Charles Raymond Downs, MD., sister Gloria Irene Downs First, RN, and Mary Esther Downs McPherson.
