Local Woman Injured

A PONCA CITY woman is listed in serious condition with head and neck injuries following a two-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Kelly Avenue and Big Snake Road. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that 23-year-old Amber Hogan was taken to Ponca City Medical Center and transferred to Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. Hogan was the driver of a 2005 Pontiac traveling westbound on Kelly Avenue. OHP reports that Deborah Siezert, 51, Ponca City, was traveling on Big Snake Road in a 2003 Dodge pickup and failed to yield from a stop sign, striking Hogan's vehicle which rolled over on to its top. Siezert was not injured. OHP reports neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
