The City of Ponca City has entered into a contract with Sober Brothers Inc. of Ponca City to perform pavement reconstruction on this section of street, which is approximately 600 feet long, City Engineer Jim Fairbanks said.

During construction, this section of Meadow Lane will be closed to all traffic. Residents will not be able to access their driveways and will need to find alternate parking during construction, Fairbanks said. Estimated construction time is approximately 60 days, dependent upon the weather.

Representatives of Sober Brothers have distributed informational letters to all of the residences directly affected by this construction. Signing and barricades will be in place to detour and direct traffic around the construction site.
