Police Seek Information

The Ponca City Police Department is seeking information in the robbery and arson of a historic home in Ponca City.
A large home in the 1100 block of East Central was forcibly entered during the late evening hours of Friday, Aug. 26, or in the early morning on Saturday, Aug. 27. A fire was started in the home which caused a significant amount of damage.
The homeowners were out of state at the time the crimes were committed.

 

When they returned, they found the home had been ransacked. At least three pieces of jewelry had been taken in the burglary. A vehicle that was left parked in the garage had the windows rolled down and some type of flammable substance was poured on the interior of the car.
